Why Listen? In my journal practice, I write down what I call “heart taps”, which are the things that speak directly to my heart. Here are a few of the heart tap moments that I wrote down from this interview with  BRETT LARKIN :  

  1. Yoga is not just a thing we do, but a space we inhabit mentally. 
  2. Yoga is also the science of energy management. 
  3. We are not the voices in our head. 
  4. You can do “yoga” off the mat with things like breath-work and so much more. 
  5. Do “yoga” in the in-between moments. 
  6. If you can only choose one thing: breathwork or yoga…choose breath-work…it’s that important.
  7. Your breath is the thermostat for your nervous system. 
  8. Your breath and emotions are in a reciprocal relationship.
