  1. We all have VERY DIFFERENT BRAINS. 
  2. Close to 1/2 of all Americans, as some point in their life, will struggle with a mental illness, impairing your ability to function in life in various arena.
  3. Addressed early, one can greatly alleviate the symptoms and suffering of mental illness. 
  4. The same wiring that can predispose one to mental illness also often comes along with a wiring potential for great strengths. 
  5. Stigma continues to keep many from being diagnosed and treated. 
  6. Mental health is health. 
  7. Many people who experience mental pain also feel physically pain. 
  8. If you are living with chronic pain, it can also cause depression by itself. 
  9. The brain changes over time depending on what environmentally is happening to it and what we are experiencing and processing. 
  10. Make sure you are getting help from a real mental health professional, not just from someone you follow on TikTok. 
  11. “Look for your strengths and play to it.”
  12. Have deep and intimate conversations with those around you to develop deep connections and fight off loneliness. 
  13. Being able to play and have fun is an important part of life.
